The unsteady CFD simulations were performed to obtain aerodynamic load functions on the footbridge. These loads were introduced to nonlinear structural dynamics transient calculation to obtain footbridge response. The influence of aerodynamic forces was evaluated in terms of pedestrian comfort and safety.
