AbstractAbstract The purpose of this article is to present the influence of the environment on the propagation of a shock wave and the dynamic response of the plate load by a shock wave. In the course of research in this field an experimental study was performed. An experimental study concerns the test plate loaded by a shock wave, formed after the detonation of an explosive device with equivalent weighing of TNT equal to 1 kg. During numerical investigations environmental impacts have been tested on the dynamic response disc. The considered environments of explosions were air water and soil. A model of the phenomenon has been prepared using commercial software MSC DYTRAN.
