Brachiopods from the Chlamys Ledge Member, uppermost part of the Polonez Cove Formation (Oligocene), of King George Island, West Antarctica are represented by the undeterminable Rhynchonellida, one short-looped terebratulide Liothyrella Thomson, and two long-looped terebratellidines: Rhizothyris Thomson and Terebratelloidea gen. et sp. indet. Liothyrella is a well known genus in the Cenozoic strata and Recent waters of the Southern Hemisphere, while Rhizothyris is noted for the second time in the Antarctic region. This is the first record of brachiopods from the Chlamys Ledge Member.

Consciousness was the guiding thread of Edmund Husserl's phenomenological investigations. He understood it as a critique of experience and the metaphysics and science based on it. Phenomenology is a critique of cognition, a method of investigation and questioning. In his later writings Husserl defined consciousness as a “system of intentional functions,” a “system of intentional operations.” Its correlate is a coherent and regularized world. One of the most important aspects of the system of intentional functions are habitualities—patterns, mental representations which arise in the process of “typification” and henceforth guide our ordinary thinking and acting. Thanks to them, the type of object, its features and properties are predetermined and, in principle, the ways of knowing it are determined. My task is to characterize the broad context of habituality formation, that is, the stream of consciousness and the possibilities of feeling and movement of the bodily subject. I will discuss in turn the temporal structure of experience and its dependence on the movement and action of the bodily subject, and then characterize the form of general intimacy with the world. It is in this context of “indeterminate reality” that the constitution and evocation of the deposited sense, the anticipation of the type of object and its qualities play out. In conclusion, I will make some remarks about habituality as a source of empirical concepts.

The study consists of three parts. The first comprises the characteristic features of social politics strategy. They include the basic assumptions and functions of the social politics strategy in the field of the development of education and aid activities at the level of local units of territorial authorities. The essence of the study is the second part. It consists of the own research results – an analysis of the aims and tasks associated with inclusive education (also with preparing local communities for creating inclusive culture), comprised in strategies. The whole is completed with final conclusions. The study is aimed at the qualitative analysis of the development strategy of 17 communes (3900 pages of documents) as regards the issues of disability. The research interest was to find out whether the slogans promoting the equal access to education, elimination of barriers and preparing mainstream schools and local community for inclusive culture had been reflected in any way in the social politics strategies of local authorities – in the documents which, at least in the assumptions, constitute the starting point for generating good practices, also in the field of social support and education for disabled learners.

Pre-treatment techniques employed for exhaust emission control of compression ignition engines were found to reduce the emission levels by small percentage only, failing to meet the required emission regulations. Post-treatment technique including diesel particulate filtration, diesel oxidation catalysis and selective catalytic reduction is found to be an effective solution. While the fuel-based regeneration of diesel particulate filter leads to uncontrolled combustion affecting the durability of the filter. Development of an effective regeneration system is one of the major technical challenges faced by automotive industry for meeting emission norms. A composite regeneration system with the application of microwave energy is proposed in this paper. As an initial phase, a three-dimensional model of the system is developed and its flow analysis is carried out by considering the case of single channel flow. Simulation of the regeneration process is also done by developing a Simulink model. The results of simulation showed that an engine running continuously for a period of 24 hours would require three regenerations.

In 2022, the Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences published three texts by the Russian writer and anthroposophist Nikolai Belotsvetov: The Book of the Russian Grail, In Defense of Anthroposophy, and The Mystery of Good and Evil in the Spiritual Experience of Self‐Knowledge, that were found in private archives. This article undertakes a consideration of the story of the Russian Grail contained in Belotsvetov’s text of the same title. Semantic category of this multidimensional symbol, constructed by Belotsvetov, allows for an original and still relevant account of the Parsifal Road as a historical perspective of Russia.
