Lasy są dynamicznym tworem przyrody (i człowieka). Odpowiedzialność za nie spoczywa na całym społeczeństwie.
The Bulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences: Technical Sciences (Bull.Pol.

The herbaceous understory is the lowest, ground-level layer of plants and fungi in the forest. What is its role and importance in the main ecological processes occurring in forest ecosystems?
What makes forest litter so important? How rapidly does it decompose? And how can it contribute to mitigating the effects of climate change?
The current challenge for Polish foresters is to properly reshape our forests, adapting the species composition to the changing habitat conditions.
Water is essential for plant growth and development, and the degree of its availability significantly shapes ecosystems in different climate zones. How does an overabundance or deficiency of water affect the flora in Poland and different parts of the world?
