In this paper the general solution of nonlinear satellite pseudorange equation system has been given. This solution was obtained by the application of the new positional transformation determining relations between the points in three-dimension space. It has been proved that computation of the position does not require knowledge of the light speed, occuring in pseudorange measurements, or determination of approximate coordinates. The general solution allows one to obtain all possible solutions including complex conjugate positions. This work has also stated that there exists some space regions in which it is not possible to determine the positions in the domain of real numbers. This is especially important in navigation of objects moving in the space.

Wcięcie wstecz stanowi szczególnie użyteczną konstrukcję geodezyjną ze względu na zredukowanie obserwacji terenowych do pomiaru dwóch kątów na punkcie wyznaczanym. Należy jednak zauważyć, że w przypadku kiedy trzy punkty o znanych współrzędnych i punki wyznaczany leżą na tym samym okręgu kola pozycja jest niewyznaczalna. Niewyznaczalność pozycji powoduje konieczność przeprowadzenia analiz dokladnościowych przed założeniem tych konstrukcji. W przedstawionej pracy ustalono ogólne charakterystyki dokladnościowe dla bezpośredniego dokonywania tych analiz. Podano ogólne funkcje pozwalające na bezpośrednie wyznaczanie średniego błędu pozycji, dokładności odległości centralnej i dokładności azymutu centralnego. Ustalono także funkcje określające błąd wyznaczenia pozycji w dowolnym kierunku i podano orientację oraz wielkości półosi standardowych elips błędów. Załączone przykłady numeryczne ilustrują praktyczne zastosowania otrzymanych funkcji.

In this paper the new transformation of coordinates in three-dimensional space has been given. This transformation allows determination of the coordinates of the points in the new Cartesian coordinate system based on the reference point with known coordinates in initial Cartesian coordinate system.

A new solution of the resection is presented in this paper. Two methods of position determination have been developed. An indicator of possibilities of position determination has been introduced. Cases when the position cannot be determined have been considered and their geometric interpretation has been developed.
