Artykuł stanowi analizę decyzyjną partnerstwa energetycznego Federacji Rosyjskiej z Republiką Federalną Niemiec oraz Republiką Francuską. Analizie zostały poddane determinanty wpływające na charakter obustronnej współpracy. Praca ukazuje występujące zależności energetyczne z perspektywy wybranych państw oraz cele polityki Federacji Rosyjskiej, a także odpowiada na pytanie o przyczynę podejmowanych działań. Celem pracy jest również analiza korelacji zachodzącej między pozycją polityczną państwa w UE a charakterem partnerstwa energetycznego z Rosją, jak również analiza sektorów gazu ziemnego poszczególnych państw.

The French consulate founded in Gdańsk in 1610 was probably the fi rst consulate in the Polish- -Lithuanian Commonwealth. It was established by the King of France, Henri IV. The State Archive in Gdańsk holds a document dated on 23 April 1610 nominating Jean de La Blanque to the post of the French consul in Gdańsk. This was part of a wider diplomatic plan by the French monarch to set up a French alliance with Sweden and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

The article offers a critical insight into the social history of ideas as a research trend that has been dynamically developing within French academic circles since 2010. Methodologically, the social history of ideas attempts to apply sociological tools to study the diffusion and embedding of political ideas within specific groups. After presenting the general directions of this trend's development, the author focuses on its critics, offering their own reflections on the difficulties one might encounter when applying its principles to research on Central‑Eastern Europe. To tackle this task, the author provides a methodological exercise to verify the extent to which the principles of social history of ideas can be applied to the study of (semi)peripheral ideas. In conclusion, the author emphasises the invigorating nature and critical tasks that social history of ideas can fulfill within Polish historiography as well.

Artykuł jest poświęcony wzajemnym relacjom polsko-francuskim w latach 1918– 1939, a szczególnie roli generała Kazimierza Sosnkowskiego, który należał do grona zwolenników współpracy z Francją uważając, że jest to jedyny potencjalny sojusznik Polski, zwłaszcza w sytuacji konfliktu z Niemcami. Bezsprzecznie na początku lat dwudziestych był realizatorem linii politycznej Józefa Piłsudskiego. Kiedy w 1925 roku ukształtował się w Europie ład lokarneński, Polska stanęła przez dylematem tworzenia realiów nowej polityki zagranicznej. Pod koniec życia Józefa Piłsudskiego doszło do realizacji koncepcji równych odległości – ta koncepcja Józefa Becka zakończyła się dwiema umowami z ZSRR i Niemcami. Rozwój sytuacji międzynarodowej a zwłaszcza postawa Niemiec musiały wywołać reakcje w Warszawie i Paryżu. Po śmierci Marszałka i zmianie politycznej w Polsce, nowe władze wojskowe na czele z marszałkiem Edwardem Śmigłym-Rydzem zaangażowały się w tworzenie nowych relacji z Francją. Ważną rolę w tych działaniach odegrał generał Kazimierz Sosnkowski.

The author presents a series of publications by Franciszek Ziejka related to his stays in France and Portugal in 1970–1973 (Aix-en-Provence), 1979–1980 (Lisbon) and 1984–1988 (Paris). At that time, Ziejka disseminated knowledge about the language, Polish literature and culture in those universities, and at the same time, in libraries and especially archives, he undertook research on the culture of these countries and the presence of Polish literature and culture. The result was groundbreaking studies on the relationships and contacts of Polish artists and writers with representatives of Western creative circles. In these studies, Ziejka expanded our traditional knowledge of the presence of Polish culture in the West and discovered new traces of it, including those sometimes associated with such famous artists as Chopin, Joseph Conrad or Zygmunt Krasiński.
