The Bulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences: Technical Sciences (Bull.Pol. This paper discusses the study of the atmosphere of architecture, which places human perception of space at the centre, and thus expands the humanist aspect of architectural and urban theory and design. Referring her own research to the current state of the art, the author presents various definitions of atmosphere and methodologies of its description, which considerably encroach into the field of neurophysiology and psychology, but also value contemplation, literary descriptions, photographs and stage design in a new light.

Prognozowanie pogody wymaga znajomości praw rządzących ruchem atmosfery. Obok mechaniki płynów trzeba uwzględnić ruch obrotowy naszej planety, zróżnicowane nagrzewanie jej powierzchni wskutek pochłaniania promieniowania słonecznego, a także procesy parowania wody i kondensacji pary wodnej.

Wobec konieczności przekształcenia energetyki polskiej z węglowej na niskoemisyjną warto się zastanowić, jaką drogą mamy iść: czy budować elektrownie wiatrowe i słoneczne, czy też elektrownie jądrowe?

Polska rocznie emituje do atmosfery więcej CO2, niż mogłyby pochłonąć lasy pokrywające cały kraj.
