 abstract={Anna Colombo was a literary translator and one of the first promoters of Romanian literature in Italy. In her memoirs she mentions and justifies a suppressing intervention in the translation of Sorana Gurian’s diary, a writer, and a friend she met during her stay in Romania. In my contribution, I will focus not only on the causes, but also on the possible effects of this altering operation on the Italian reader’s reception of the diary.},
