 abstract={The paper, through the analysis of rare prefaces, investigates the seventeenth-century translation techniques relating to the transpositions of contemporary Spanish and Italian theatrical works for French scenes. The French translators and the Italian-French translators who work for the Théâtre italien in Paris are configured, with different translation postures, like tailors who adapt an already made dress to the needs of the new user.},
