At the beginning, the theological foundations of dialogue indicated by the Second Vatican Council and implemented by subsequent popes were presented, and the founda-tions of Christian anthropology was discussed. In the following, the concept of man in Islam is presented. The question was raised: where does man come from and who is he according to Muslim anthropology? Muslim eschatology was discussed. The status of human existence was also defined and the issue of human will was discussed. Criteria of morality in Islam formulated on the basis of Shari’at – Muslim law – were also presented. An important source for the presented arguments were selected fragments of the Qur’an and literature on the subject.
