 abstract={In the paper there is described a procedure of construction of geological and mining data bases for longwalls which are commonly used in Polish hard coal mining. The bases can be used for simulation of future workings and theirs results both in engineering and economic relations. Due to high degree of uncertainty characterized mining operations it is useful to determine probability distributions of investigated parameters. The examples shown in the paper relate to different longwalls from geological and equipment point of view.},
