 abstract={The article is devoted to outlining the main trends in the language consciousness of Ukrainians within the context of the full‑scale Russian‑Ukrainian war. The purpose of the research is to find out the main reasons for changes in the language consciousness of Ukrainians after the beginning of the war on the basis of the language biographies of Ukrainians. The research material was language biographies of Ukrainians of various ages, including temporarily internally displaced people, as well as representatives of national minorities (Crimean Tatars), recorded in the form of detailed interviews (30 dictaphone recordings). The results confirm changes in the language consciousness of Ukrainians. The main reasons that have led to such changes are the influence of the war and the new language environment. We can draw the conclusion that the war had a positive effect on the usage of the state language and has raised the level of language awareness amongst Ukrainians},
