 abstract={Hobby magazines represent a segment of the Polish press characterized by an undiminishing diversity — as shown by their eye-catching presence on library and press saloon shelves. However, that subsection of the Polish media has so far attracted little attention from reserchers. The goal of this article is to examine the phenomenon of the hobby magazines in the context of the current market conditions and to outline a research plan of the field.},
