 abstract={This paper presents the Steinhof Gardens and delves into their planning history. In accordance with an urban design concept by Otto Wagner (1841–1918), the construction phase was planned and carried out by Franz Berger (1853–1938) and his team, and in 1907 the facility was opened. The garden architect Ferdinand Müller (1858–1942) played a role in the implementation of the sanatorium’s gardens. Several alterations have been made since its acquisition by the City of Vienna; a care manual is still lacking.},
