The fundamental concepts of nano and quantum systems of informatics have been presented. The nanotechnological processes taking place in biological systems of informatics have been discussed in terms of informatics. Presented analysis shows that the application of nanotechnologies in the technical informatic systems enables realization of processes for formation of products and objects with self-replication feature, similarly to the processes existing in biological informatic systems. It seems also that the quantum technologies enable further miniaturization of the technical systems of informatics as well as make the execution time of some computing processes like, e.g. Shor's and Grover's algorithms, shorter.
Abstract. In this paper we present a new class of neuro-fuzzy systems designed for system modelling and pattern classi.cation. Our approach is characterized by automatic determination of fuzzy inference in the process of learning. Moreover, we introduce several .exibility concepts in the design of neuro-fuzzy systems. The method presented in the paper is characterized by high accuracy which outperforms previous techniques applied for system modelling and pattern classi.cation.
In the present paper .nite-dimensional, stationary dynamical control systems described by semilinear ordinary di.erential state equations with multiple point delays in control are considered. In.nite-dimensional semilinear stationary dynamical control systems with single point delay in the control are also discussed. Using a generalized open mapping theorem, su.cient conditions for constrained local relative controllability are formulated and proved. It is generally assumed, that the values of admissible controls are in a convex and closed cone with vertex at zero. Some remarks and comments on the existing results for controllability of nonlinear dynamical systems are also presented.
In the paper, the problem of isothermic DNA sequencing by hybridization, without any errors in its input data, is presented and an exact polynomial-time algorithm solving the problem is described. The correctness of the algorithm is con.rmed by an enumerative proof.
Semiconductive - resistive sensors of toxic and explosive gases were fabricated from nanograins of SnO2 using thick-.lm technology. Sensitivity, selectivityand stabilityof sensors working in di.erent temperature depend on the way the tin dioxide and additives were prepared. A construction also plays an important role. The paper presents an attitude towards the evaluation of transport of electrical charges in semiconductive grain layer of SnO2, when dangerous gases appear in the surrounding atmosphere.
An overview of the important techniques for detection of optical radiation from the ultraviolet, through visible to infrared spectral regions is presented. At the beginning single-point devices are considered. Next, di.erent application circuits used in direct detection systems together with elucidation of the design of front-end circuits and discussion of their performance are presented. Third part of the paper is devoted to advanced techniques including coherent detection. Finally, the updated information devoted to readout of signals from detector arrays and focal plane arrays is included. It is shown that detector focal plane technology has revolutionized many kinds of imaging in the past 25 years.
This paper reviews research at the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering, Poznań University of Technology, on the synthesis of nanocrystalline hydride electrode materials. Nanocrystalline materials have been synthesized by mechanical alloying (MA) followed by annealing. Examples of the mate2-, LaNi5 and Mg2Ni-type phases. Details on the process used and the enhancement of properties due to the nanoscale structures are presented. The synthesized alloys were used as negative electrode materials for Ni-MH battery. The properties of hydrogen host materials can be modi?ed substantially by alloying to obtain the desired storage characteristics. For example, it was found that the respective replacement of Fe in TiFe by Ni and/or by Cr, Co, Mo improved not only the discharge capacity but also the cycle life of these electrodes. The hydrogen storage properties of nanocrystalline ZrV2- and LaNi5-type powders prepared by mechanical alloying and annealing show no big di?erence with those of melt casting (polycrystalline) alloys. On the other hand, a partial substitution of Mg by Mn orAl in Mg2Ni alloy leads to an increase in discharge capacity, at room temperature. Furthermore, the e?ect of the nickel and graphite coating on the structure of some nanocrystalline alloys and the electrodes characteristics were investigated. In the case of Mg2Ni-type alloy mechanical coating with graphite e?ectively reduced the degradation rate of the studied electrode materials. The combination of a nanocrystalline TiFe-, ZrV2- and LaNi5-type hydride electrodes and a nickel positive electrode to form a Ni-MH battery, has been successful.
It is shown that 2(n + 1) is the upper bound for the reachability index of the n-order positive 2D general models.
