Abstract

The study of inner speech is appropriate to carry out in the plane of interaction of various scientific studies. This approach allows us to analyze the specifics of functioning of inner speech at the level of artistic discourse. Such phenomenon as inner speech presents not only the protagonist's outlook, their emotional state or social aspects, but also demonstrates, under the influence of extraordinary factors, the intensity of affect expression in the addresser's speech activity. Inner speech in an emotive situation is marked by peculiar characteristics, which indicates its unique multidimensional essence.

Abstract

In the article we address matters related to the stability of motion of the car subjected to the external lateral force. We show the possibility to compensate the effect of the external forces my means of the steering wheel angle. We have carried out the analysis for bicycle scheme vehicle and four-wheel model according to linear and nonlinear drift hypothesis. We have considered influence of speed of the car and size of external side force for the period of transition processes of stabilization of the movement.

Abstract

An alternative approach of the determining of conditions of safe stability loss of rectilinear motion of a wheeled vehicle model with controlled wheel module in the sense of N.N. Bautin is considered. The slipping forces are presented accurate within cubic expansion terms in the skid angles. Terms and conditions of safe stability loss depend on the ratio between the coefficients of resistance to the skid, the adhesion coefficients in the transverse direction of the axes and the parameter of torsional stiffness of the controlled wheel module. The presented approach to the analysis of real bifurcations related to the divergent loss of rectilinear motion mode stability has a clear geometric pattern: if in the vicinity of rectilinear motion at subcritical speed, there are additionally two unstable circular stationary states, then the stability limit is of dangerous nature in the sense of N.N. Bautin; if two circular stationary modes exist at supercritical speed, the limit of the stability loss in the parameter space of the longitudinal velocity is safe in the sense of N.N. Bautin. Analysis of the number of stationary modes in the vicinity of the critical velocity of rectilinear motion is performed for the obtained determining equation - cubic binomial.

Abstract

The article reveals the problems of the formation and implementation of Ukraine’s energy policy

from the beginning of its independence to the present day. The specificities of the fuel and energy

sector of the country’s economy, the main stages of formation, macroeconomic conditions and the

problems of its transformation were analyzed. The slow and contradictory processes of reforming

Ukraine’s fuel and energy complex throughout the period of its independence and the fact that the

inconsistency with the main directions of the economic policy did not ensure its effective transformation

have been proven. The results of the OECD assessment of progress towards the main

objectives implementation of the Ukraine’s Energy Strategy have been presented. It was noted that

the results of the research suggest that the progress in achieving the goals of Ukraine’s Energy Strategy

is ambiguous, therefore the strategy needs to be refined accordingly. There are two main factors

moving away from the formal and declarative nature of Ukraine’s energy policy to its realistic model.

Firstly – an international factor associated with Ukraine’s extending involvement in international cooperation

within the energy sector, Ukraine’s international commitments to reform the energy sector

towards increasing energy efficiency, green energy, etc. Another – the crisis factor – as a result of the

energy policy of the Russian Federation. It was noted that the role of these factors in the future will

remain determining. The need to improve Ukraine’s energy policy, taking the current trends in the

development of the world energy system, new challenges and threats to politico-military and energy

confrontation with the Russian Federation into account, has been proven.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the research of the motif of deception in the fairy‑tales of the Polish and Ukrainian writer S. Ostashevskyi. The work offers arguments for the topicality of the research as well as for the choice of the analysis methodology. It also emphasizes the significance of studying the author’s creative works with a view to revealing those connections between Ukrainian and Polish culture which indisputably prove their kinship. Four types of the deception motif have been distinguished based on the collections of fairy‑tales Half‑a‑Kopa Fairy‑Tales for the Little World and Half‑a‑Hundred Fairy‑Tales for Jolly People. These types are as follows: “a creature with superpowers deceives people by appearing in front of them in an anthropomorphous, intentionally inferior, everyday image”, “an infernal character takes people in without changing its image but promising material benefits and solutions to people’s life problems in exchange for their own souls or their children’s souls”, “a person (usually, a woman) deceives/tries to deceive an infernal character or some supreme forces in general”, and “a person deludes another person”. The comparison of this material with the corresponding folklore and literary heritage has defined the specificity of using and transforming the deception motif by S. Ostashevskyi: dependence on the expression of the religious idea, comical play such as appears in the 19th‑century burlesque and travesty art, and reflection on the harmonious combination of Ukrainian and Polish folklore traditions.

Abstract

Ukraine is characterised by active natural hazards processes within different structural, tectonic and landscape zones. In Middle Dnieper basin region mass movement processes have great impact on people’s livelihoods and infrastructure. These processes occur on the slopes with different geological structure. The determining causes include lithologic and stratigraphic conditions, hydrogeological regime, structural and textural peculiarities of rocks and the geomorphology of the slopes. Landslide inventory database has been developed based on long-term observations of more than 400 landslides and landslide-prone areas. This paper takes efforts forward by combining different geological and geophysical methods to advance the current understanding of landslide phenomena and contributing towards a better informed assessment of landslide hazard and risk. The developed methodology is implemented in a test sites of Kyiv region, covering an area of 18.3 km2 situated in the Middle Dnieper basin. Electrical Resistivity Tomography, Self-Potential and Infrared Thermography techniques were employed to investigate the lithostratigraphic sequences, the geometry of landslide body and potential mass movement. The results presented here confirm the potential of using an integrated approach that combines different field data to better plan mitigation activities and measures for the effective land management. This study will be useful in increasing the safety aspects of the infrastructures and lives and also for planning of research and developmental activities.
